Dr. Isom

Meet Dr. Isom

A person’s smile is the first thing people notice, and it has the ability to impact all aspects of their life. Maintaining a healthy smile, as well as improving the aesthetics of that smile, can go a long way in bettering the overall health and well-being of my patients.

Through a combination of state-of-the-art technology, sensible treatment plans, and genuine devotion to the unique needs of each patient, I am able to help my patients retain healthy teeth and gums, alleviate oral discomfort, and improve the appearance of smiles on a daily basis. I have applied this unique blend of artistic and technical skills to produce durable and aesthetic results in thousands of patients over the past 30 years.

My profession gives me the opportunity to touch people of all walks and faiths of life. I think that by working with so many diverse people, I learn a lot and am able to share and receive a lot of intangible blessings on a day to day basis.

Education and Experience

I earned my dental degree in 1984 from Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, WI. After graduation, I returned to my hometown of Las Vegas, NV to begin my private practice. Since then, I have focused my practice on TMJ treatment, snoring and sleep apnea prevention, and headache and migraine pain relief with TruDenta®.

With years of experience and a grasp of the most innovative, minimally invasive new procedures, I am dedicated to lifelong learning through continuing education courses. This is made possible through my active memberships with the Nevada Dental Association, the American Academy of General Dentistry, the International Association of Orthodontics, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the American Association for Functional Orthodontics, and the American Academy for Craniofacial Pain.

Family and Community

I have been proud to live in Las Vegas for my entire life. It’s been a wonderful area to run my practice and raise my family. My wife and I have been blessed with eight children and 14 grandchildren. They are my true joy and I am dedicated to them in my free time.

When one is given so much, it is important to give back to the community to help the less fortunate and to mentor our youth. I am heavily involved with the Boy Scouts of America and volunteer my services with outreach programs for children’s oral health in Latin and Central America.
